Just picked up my first AR and decided to go Daniel Defense. I love the rifle but there is something that’s on my mind. Being how it’s my first AR I’m not sure if this is normal for a DD but I’ve experienced a wobble that i believe is coming from where the upper and lower meet I can see visible movement. When I pick it up I can feel it wobble and when I grip the rail and hold the grip I can feel it wobble. Is this normal on these? I did my research and I’m sure I heard time and time again people mention how there’s essentially 0 wobble on these because of how good the build quality is.

I have three DDM4V7SLW’s and a DDM4V7P and none of them wobble. DD has a fantastic warranty program. Go back to your LGS where you bought it and talk to them if they won’t help contact DD customer service. They’re one of the best in the world. Their turn around time is super fast.

I agree with @Wycowboy you should bring it to your local shop or reach out to DD to see if there's anything they recommend or fix.

Between the DDM4V7SLW and the DDM4V7P which one do you prefer?
The DDM4V7P is their braced pistol with a 10 1/2” barrel so with a suppressor it’s better for home defense, self defense or a truck gun. With the ATF ruling pending though it will be considered a SBR and would need a tax stamp. So it’s either another $200 tax stamp for a SBR stamp or installing an extra 16” upper to comply with the ruling, which I’ve done until the ruling is overturned like the bump stock ruling was. I liked the option of having both to decide which tool I needed to Finish the job.
